Today, I have a very special video for you about your videos and stand-up comedy: it’s not only one of my favorite topics to cover…

it’s also a free section from the premium course!

Stand-up Comedy?

Yes, you read right. I know most people haven’t been actors, and even fewer have tried their hands at stand-up comedy.

I’ve done both.

I don’t claim to be the greatest actor OR stand-up comedian, but I have studied and performed both.

While there are certainly cross-overs from acting to doing videos for your business, I also believe there’s something to be gained from the world of stand-up.

George Carlin, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, John Mulaney—all of them use the same formula over and over again.

Think of YOUR favorite comedian—chances are, they do this, too.

It’s almost obvious once you know what it is.

And YOU can use it in to save your videos from being boring and unrelatable. By using this technique, you can quickly draw your audience in, and have them nodding in agreement before you know it!

What do I cover in this video?

You’ll learn about your job on camera, and how to be easily be more relatable!

Check it out in this section from my course.

What’s next?

  • Taking what I talked about in the video, how can you step more into your role of a philosopher?
  • How can you quickly identify yourself and switch the conversation around?

Not many people are taking about doing video this way, so I’d love to hear your thoughts below.

(This is only 1 video of 12 in just the first module—there are 4 modules total, with all the videos averaging ~4 minutes.)

And the thumbnail above was a shot from my *first* stand-up show. Curious how it went? Here’s a sample. 😉

  1. Drawing upon your own live experiences is a good tip for coming up with fun stand up comedy, but I am glad you elaborated a bit more on it. Looking for the fails in your life is indeed a good way to find laughs. People love hearing about others fail, almost as much as they love to see it.
