  1. Comfort with silence is a big lesson I’m still working on. When I’m listening, pauses make me see the speaker as thoughtful, pensive, smart. When I pause, I feel dumb. No reason for it.

    • Totally agree about perspective. “That guy seems wise ‘cuz he takes his time!” vs “Everyone must think I’m an idiot for not crafting all my sentences perfectly!” 🙂
